## Specialized & Opt-In Agents

Beyond the core 4-agent pipeline, NIKI supports advanced specialized agent stages configured in `niki.toml`.

---

## 1. Red/Blue Adversarial Agent (`[red_blue]`)

When enabled, a **Red Agent** inspects the Coder's diff before the Reviewer sees it. Its sole goal is to find edge-case vulnerabilities, silent logic flaws, and performance hazards.

The Reviewer is then required to explicitly evaluate, uphold, or refute each of the Red Agent's challenges.

```toml
[red_blue]
enabled  = true
provider = "anthropic"
model    = "claude-sonnet-4-20250514"
```

---

## 2. Parallel Coders & Synthesizer (`[parallel]`)

For complex architectural tasks, NIKI can spawn $N$ concurrent Coder agents working independently in isolated Git worktrees.

A **Synthesizer** agent then merges the best ideas and approaches from all solutions into a single unified diff.

```toml
[parallel]
enabled     = true
coder_count = 3
```

---

## 3. Security Auditor (`[security]`)

A dedicated security pass that scans diffs for hardcoded secrets, injection vectors, unauthorized file access, and memory safety issues before tests or commits execute.

```toml
[security]
enabled  = true
provider = "anthropic"
model    = "claude-sonnet-4-20250514"
```
